“The Reality of Young Americans in Mexico: Their Aspirations and Barriers”

LCUUF’s April 16th service will speak to the challenges young Americans face upon emigrating to Mexico with their deported parents. We will have the privilege of hearing a presentation by attorney, Tran Dang, executive director and founder of The Rhizome Center for Migrants, a U.S. nonprofit based in Guadalajara. Ms. Dang will speak about the impact of deportation on children, what dreams U.S. minors still have in Mexico, and the barriers they face in achieving their greatest aspirations.
