Music Director

Our music director, Michael Reason, retired to Lakeside, bringing with him an extensive professional music background as a conductor and pianist.

During the past 3 decades Michael has been Music Director of several orchestras in Canada including the Niagara Symphony and the Hamilton Philharmonic. He has been a frequent guest conductor with orchestras in Canada, Europe and Asia including the Calgary Philharmonic, the Edmonton Symphony, the North Czech Philharmonic, and the Taipei Symphony. He has also worked with numerous Mexican ensembles including the State of Mexico Symphony, the Bellas Artes Orchestra and the Guanajuato Symphony. Michael now lives in Ajijic with his wife, Sharon and their treasured Wheaten terrier, Sophie. 

Featured Vocalist

Linda Jessen is our featured vocalist and leads the hymns and often performs for the Prelude and Postlude.

Guest Musicians are often invited to perform at Sunday services.
