The title is from a saying in the Gospel of Thomas, “If you bring forth what is in you, (it] will save you; if you do not bring forth what is within you, (it] will destroy you.” We explore what we bring forth, through our first Source, that is, our “direct experience of that transcending mystery and wonder … which moves us to a renewal of the spirit and an openness to the forces which create and uphold life.”
