For this first Sunday of the New Year, we reflect on the challenging dystopian year of 2020, while noting some hopeful points (democracy survives in the US, yes!). We also look with optimism to a new year, one that perhaps corrects the extremes of the past year. On a personal level, we recall our own hardships, and look forward to hopeful changes in the new year. We will include a time of remembrance for those in our membership who died in 2020.
